Cyanotype Workshop: Field Notes in Blue
Learn about cyanotype and experience taking artful field notes with respect and care for humans, plants, and other beings around us.
Facilitated by Farida Rady
Hosted in Ahmed A.R. Abushaban’s Climate Justice (ENVS 4350/ENVS 5055)
In the EUC 1st Floor Lounge (HNES 136)
We will create camera-less blue images using plant materials. During this process, participants will examine cyanotype's origins and reflect on its role in colonial botany, map-making, and industrial "blueprints". Come experience taking artful field notes with respect and care for humans, plants, and other beings around us.
