Let's Talk Science/Parlons sciences

Let's Talk Science will be hosting series of daily activities throughout July and August that can be done with family and friends.

<h1>Daily Discovery Series</h1><p>In this program, children and youth ages 9-11 are invited to spend as much time out of their seats moving as they do engaged in hands-on projects exploring the world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.</p><p>Join us for a short daily video activity, a new theme each week and end the week with a fun, live quiz show - the Brain Buster! Hosted by STEM mentors from universities across Canada, the Daily Discovery Series encourages children and youth to be innovators of tomorrow from the comfort of home.</p><p><em>Note: If your child is slightly older or younger than the age range, they are still welcome to participate.</em></p>

<h2>Weekly Themes and Descriptions</h2><p>You can register for as many or as few weeks as you want.</p><h3>Week 1: Messy Science (July 5-9)</h3><p>Get your hands dirty with some fun science experiments! Whether it’s in the kitchen or outside, learning about science can be messy – but always fun!</p><h3>Week 2: The Four Elements (July 12-16)</h3><p>Explore the 4 elements of nature – fire, earth, wind and water -  by learning about cycles found in nature and doing some fun science experiments.</p><h3>Week 3: Towards the Edge of the Universe (July 19-23)</h3><p>Blast off with us and learn about space and the solar system and how they impact life on Earth.</p><h3>Week 4: Forces and movements (July 26-30)</h3><p>This week, we are engineers in training! Harness the forces acting all around us to build your first machines and structures.</p><h3>Week 5: 110 10 001 0 1 (August 2-6)</h3><p>It’s never too early to think about the future. Learn about digital literacy and start developing the skills you’ll need in a quickly changing world.</p><h3>Week 6: Naturalist in Training (August 9-13)</h3><p>This week, we’re getting outdoors! Become a naturalist in your own backyard, learn about plants and animals that surround you, and find out how you can help Planet Earth be a better place.</p><h3></h3><h3></h3>
