Our Sacred Journey, created by Jeannie DeVries, offers trauma-informed workshops, grief circles, and community healing ceremonies. My mission is to create safe, compassionate spaces where people can move through grief, reconnect with their bodies, and experience gentle, collective healing.

<p>Dancing Through Grief returns on <strong><strong>November 14</strong></strong> for an afternoon session designed to support emotional release through breath, sound, writing, and movement.<br>This is a gentle, trauma-informed grief circle where you can arrive exactly as you are—no pressure, no performing, no need to hold anything together.</p><p>This time of year can feel heavy, isolating, and overwhelming. This gathering offers a grounded, supportive place to soften, breathe, and process whatever your body has been carrying.</p><h2>✨ <strong><strong>WHAT TO EXPECT</strong></strong></h2><p>This workshop follows a slow, intentional arc to support the body and nervous system:</p><h3><strong><strong>1. Breathwork</strong></strong></h3><p>Guided, trauma-informed breathwork to settle the system, soften emotional tension, and open the body for release.</p><h3><strong><strong>2. Embodied Writing</strong></strong></h3><p>A quiet, private writing practice that allows grief and emotion to surface safely without needing to be shared.</p><h3><strong><strong>3. Sound Healing with Judith Colibrí</strong></strong></h3><p>Judith will guide you through sound healing using bowls, chimes, and intuitive soundwork to open the emotional body and support deep release.</p><h3><strong><strong>4. Embodied Movement</strong></strong></h3><p>Gentle, intuitive movement—seated or standing—led by Judith to help emotions move through and out of the body, rather than staying held inside.</p><h3><strong><strong>5. Selenite Cleansing (Indoors)</strong></strong></h3><p>A gentle, optional cleansing practice using selenite to help clear emotional residue and energetic heaviness.<br>This is a <strong><strong>smoke-free</strong></strong>, grounding ritual that supports integration and clarity before closing.</p><h3><strong><strong>6. Optional Smudging (Outdoors or After the Workshop)</strong></strong></h3><p>For those who wish, a brief smudging moment will be available <strong><strong>outside</strong></strong> after the workshop.<br>Participants who are scent-sensitive or prefer not to smudge can remain indoors.<br>This ensures everyone can honour their own comfort while still engaging in grounding ceremony if they choose.</p><h3><strong><strong>7. Closing Sound + Grounding</strong></strong></h3><p>We end with soft, restorative sound healing to integrate, calm, and settle the system before returning to daily life.</p><h2>✨ <strong><strong>OUR APPROACH</strong></strong></h2><p>This circle is built around non-interruption of emotional release.<br>That means:</p><ul><li>No advice</li><li>No fixing</li><li>No soothing</li><li>No touching</li><li>No reaching across the circle</li><li>No offering tissues in the moment</li></ul><p>Not because comfort is wrong, but because in grief work it can interrupt the release your body is finally allowing.</p><p>This is a <strong><strong>witnessing space</strong></strong>, not a <strong><strong>rescuing space</strong></strong>—<br>A place where you can feel without being stopped.</p>
