DataJam 2026 is a one-day data science hackathon where teams of 3-5 students will tackle real-world challenges and compete for amazing prizes! Co-hosted by CGI and Saint Mary's University Sobey School of Business, this event brings together students from across the Maritimes to apply their data skills to meaningful problems.

Date: Friday, March 7, 2026
Time: 8:30 AM – 6:30PM
Location: SH312 , Arthur L. Irving Entrepreneurship Centre, Saint Mary's University
Registration Fee: $10 per person (includes all meals, snacks, swag, certificate, and competition entry)

Who Can Participate?

All students are welcome — as long as your graduation date is May 2025 or later! This includes:

• Undergraduate students (all years)
• Graduate students (Master's and PhD)
• All academic programs (Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Statistics, Health Sciences, and more!)

No prior data science experience required - if you attended our prep workshops, you're ready! If you didn't attend the workshops, you're still welcome to compete.
