To provide individualized care based on trust, integrity and personal choice offering physical, social, emotional and spiritual support in a comfortable and compassionate environment.

The Club at North Halton

Based on the success and popularity of our last session, the Townsend Smith Foundation will be returning with another death cafe! A Death Café is a group-led discussion about death. The goal of these spaces is to encourage and normalize conversations about this universal, yet not often talked about, experience. By becoming more aware of death, we can better appreciate and make the most of our finite lives. This event will be facilitated by Anne Stewart, TSF Volunteer and founder of <a href="https://www.holdingspacehalton.ca/" title="https://www.holdingspacehalton.ca/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Holding Space Halton</a> and the <a href="https://www.townsend-smith.ca/" title="https://www.townsend-smith.ca/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Townsend Smith Foundation</a>, and provides a welcoming space for open-ended conversations. There are no formal agendas, objectives, or themes - just an opportunity to explore death as a natural part of life, reflect on personal perspectives, and connect with others over a topic that is often overlooked or misunderstood. The Death Café movement, founded by Jon Underwood, has grown globally, offering communities a chance to engage with this essential conversation. Registration is required as spots are limited. Registration is free, however donations are always welcome. We would encourage you to support our hosts by purchasing refreshments at the venue. *please note: this is not a support group or bereavement service. If you are experiencing grief, please reach out to organizations and private practices that can offer the support you require.
