Deep Rest & Integration Sound Bath

Deep Rest & Integration Sound Bath

St. Matthews Lutheran ChurchKitchener, ON
Friday, Feb 27 from 7 pm to 8:30 pm
Overview

A restorative sound bath to settle the nervous system and soften the body

A deeply restorative sound bath supporting deep rest, nervous-system reset, and gentle integration through sound.

Join us for Deep Rest & Integration, a restorative sound journey designed to help the body slow down, soften, and settle.

This experience is an invitation to pause — to step out of effort and allow the nervous system to unwind. Through sound, stillness, and rest, the body is given space to integrate recent experiences and return to balance.

This is not a session focused on intention-setting or “doing the work.”
It’s about rest, receptivity, and allowing the body to recalibrate naturally.

About the Experience

This immersive sound journey is designed to support deep relaxation and gentle emotional integration. Using crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and other instruments, you’ll be guided into a meditative state where the body can relax and the mind can quiet.

Sound works directly with the nervous system, helping release held tension, soothe the stress response, and support a sense of grounding and safety. As the body settles, space opens for integration — without force or effort.

No prior experience is needed. You are invited to simply lie down, get comfortable, and receive.

🧘‍♀️ What to Bring

Please bring anything you need to be comfortable lying on the floor:

  • Yoga mat or padded mat
  • Blanket(s) — more than one is encouraged
  • Pillow or bolster
  • Eye mask (optional)
  • Socks or slippers
  • Water

Wear warm, comfortable layers. Most guests choose to lie down for the duration of the session.

The hall is an older, large space and can feel cool, especially in colder weather. For maximum comfort, thicker or padded mats (such as camping mats) are recommended over standard yoga mats.

Doors open at 6:30 PM
The session begins promptly at 7:00 PM

This is a private, closed-door event. To maintain a calm and uninterrupted container, doors will lock a few minutes after the start time. Please arrive early to settle in comfortably.

Free limited parking is available onsite. City parking lots are nearby if church parking is full.

👥 Who This Is For

This experience is open to all — beginners and regular attendees alike. It’s especially supportive if you’re feeling:

  • mentally or emotionally fatigued
  • overstimulated or tense
  • in need of grounding and rest
  • drawn to quiet, supportive community
  • ready to integrate rather than push forward

Space is limited. Advance registration is recommended.

Join Us

If life has felt full or demanding, this is an invitation to slow down.

Come rest.
Come settle.

I look forward to holding space with you.
