Join us for a public festival bringing together persons with dementia, family, friends, and all who support a dementia-friendly community.

Peace Arch Provincial Park

Registration is now closed, but you are still welcome to join us! If coming from the Canadian side, park at the Peace Arch Provincial Park parking lot in Surrey (turn right onto Exit 1 (Beach Rd) just before the Duty Free Store and then left at the Peace Arch Park sign at the end of the hedges surrounding the Duty Free parking lot). If coming from the US side, park at Peace Arch State Park in Blaine (Take exit 276 for WA-548 S toward Blaine City Center, At the traffic circle, continue straight onto 2nd St). arrive at the parking lots by 11:00AM to join us for the opening walk to the Peace Arch monument. If arriving later than 11:00AM, find us at the main shelter at Peace Arch Provincial Park.

Dementia Without Borders features a brief optional community walk, BBQ lunch, art exhibit and musical performances by persons with dementia, and more!A free event; includes limited transportation from Vancouver or Seattle. Event location, Peace Arch Provincial Park, is accessible from both sides of the border without a passport or border crossing. Dementia Without Borders is organized by the UBC Centre for Research on Personhood in Dementia and the UW Medicine Memory &amp; Brain Wellness Center.Questions?
