From the weimar era to her role at the National Film Board of Canada, discover how Reiniger's artistry and innovation left an indelible mark on the world of design and animation.🗣️ Engage with our panelists on Reiniger's unique style, drawing inspiration from China to France and her lasting attraction for designers and students today, including Scott Birdwise (University of Toronto, TMU, OCAD U) will discuss "Cinderella"; stop-motion director Lynn Wilton will comment on "Thumbelina"; Prof. Philippe Blanchard, Chair of Experimental Animation at OCAD U, will contextualise "The Adventures of Prince Achmed".
