The University of Guelph is hosting a series of 4-day workshops on topics related to digital humanities research and teaching from May 8-11, 2017. DH@Guelph Summer Workshops are part of the Digital Humanities Summer Institute training network.

All are welcome! Please read below for information on the workshops, instructors and registration.

Any workshops with insufficient enrollment by mid-April will be cancelled. For more information please email digital.humanities@uoguelph.ca

9. Getting Going with Scholarship Online: An introduction to CWRC (This class is no longer being offered.)

10. An Introduction to Augmented Reality

11. Get Down with Your Data: Learn to web scrape, clean, visualize and preserve data! (This class is now full.)

12. Pedagogy in the Digital Humanities

Instructors: Alison Hedley (Ryerson University), and Emily Christina Murphy (Queen’s University)

13. Integrating Archival Research into the DH Classroom

Instructor: Diane Jakacki (Bucknell University)


Each workshop will take place over 4 days (May 8-11) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Additional events will be planned outside of class time, including opening reception, keynote speaker, and optional social events (at individual cost). A detailed schedule will be posted closer to the date.

Registration Costs

Register before April 1st for EarlyBird Pricing! Workshops cost $50 more after this date.
