DIY + Connect

DIY + Connect is a MingleHaus event series built around doing something fun together. From hands-on experiences to creative socials, come learn something new, meet new people and connect without the awkward networking.

Summer’s almost done… so we figured we should give it a proper send-off. ☀️🎨🍻DIY + Connect: Paint & Pints is a relaxed Saturday afternoon at Cabin Brewing built around a simple idea: what would your summer look like on canvas?Together with Calgary-based Ikaya Art, we’re creating one big collaborative Paint Your Summer canvas. Grab a brush, add a memory, a place, a colour, a random doodle — whatever summer meant to you. You don’t need to know how to paint. In fact, questionable artistic ability is very welcome 😂Want something of your own? Choose the Paint & Take experience and create a personal canvas to take home instead.Come with a friend, come on a date, or come by yourself. Grab a pint, paint for a bit, meet someone new, check out some of Ikaya’s art and hang out at Cabin for the afternoon. No painting class. No awkward networking. Just paint, pints and people.📍 Cabin Brewing 📅 Saturday, September 26 ⏰ 2–7 PMChoose your experience:Paint & Pint — $20 Add your mark to our collaborative canvas + one Cabin beer or non-alcoholic drink.Paint & Pint for Two — $35 Bring someone along and add to the collaborative canvas together + one Cabin beer or non-alcoholic drink each.Paint & Take — $30 Paint your own canvas to take home + one Cabin beer or non-alcoholic drink. One last summer mingle.
