DJs:
Considered one of Toronto’s most popular DJs, Jason Palma has pushed the groove via his weekly radio show ‘Higher Ground’ on CIUT. Beyond playing countless parties across the city, Palma has held a decades-long monthly residency ‘Footprints.’
DJ John Kong’s selections for the dancefloor echo his work as a label boss with Toronto-based Do Right Music. His DJ sets are a genre-bending mix of jazz, funk, disco, and house - the only common denominator being one great groove after another.
DJ YOGI and his company United Soul has been a leading curator in Toronto's House Music community for over 2 decades. His journey started as a member of the highly respected DJ collective the Groove Institute. DJ YOGi's sets showcase his love for global rhythms and Solid Garage. He has appeared at WMC, Mi Casa Su Casa, BPM Festival, The Tribe Tambor Boat Cruise & The Chosen Few Picnic.
A concert promoter, musician & DJ, Jay NuFunk is known for playing disco-funk, party breaks, and soulful house between sets at live concerts. He is the founder of NuFunk Concerts, co-Founder of Brooklyn’s No Wahala DJs and Toronto's Make it Funky Collective.
Iced Misto is a formidable mixologist of all genres who has a knack of effortlessly fusing in gems as well as never mixing the same way twice. She’s also known in the street dance world wearing several hats as an organizer, advisor, dj, and dancer not to mention that she is an accomplished graphic artist and web developer.
Jaz Fairy J is an inter-disciplinary artist working with dance, theatre, music, performance art, voice and sound creation. In 2017 she was featured on CBC’s HERstory in Black honoring 150 Black Canadian women making a significant contribution in Canada. Much of her work during the pandemic has been focused on healing by facilitating story sharing and creating spaces to gather, share and listen, ancestral spirit practices, sound bath meditations, movement meditation, playing and having fun.
