Step back from the noise of everyday life and immerse yourself in the sublime works one of the greatest Romantic era composers: Tchaikovsky.

His Symphony No. 5 is full of sweeping melodies , dramatic contrasts and a recurring “fate” theme. You'll sense both strength and vulnerability throughout, as the struggle with destiny eventually resolves from darkness to triumph.

By contrast, the Rococo Variations for cello are light, elegant and charming. As a special treat, you may well be hearing it for the fist time on double bass, played by superstar Joel Quarrington.
