March 26, 2026 - Postcard Collage Landscapes (After William Wegman)
Participants affix postcards at random on a large roll of paper then connect the images with pencil crayon drawings.

Images are projected for about a tenth of a second and participants draw their impression. The procedure can be repeated multiple times using the same image but gradually the slides become more complicated
May 21, 2026 - Death Row Dining
In a two-part activity, participants draw what they would request for their final meal on Death Row.
Neil Wedman was born 1954. For forty years or so he has maintained a studio practice as a painter and, in the course of time, has also produced works on paper including print editions, book-works, and photographs. Wedman has made a number of short films and musical recordings although not many of the latter. He lives and works in Vancouver and is represented here by the Equinox Gallery. Wedman is an instructor conducting studio courses in life drawing, painting, and visual arts in general at Simon Fraser University’s School for the Contemporary Arts and at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. Wedman is currently working on a scale model funhouse/dark ride based on the Gastown Riot of 1971.
