Disability and Work in Canada (DWC)

Disability and Work in Canada 2019:  Strategy in Action, will be held in Ottawa on December 4 and 5, 2019 at the Delta Ottawa Centre Hotel, 101 Lyon Street North.  The conference will build overall engagement and momentum for implementation plans around the revised Pan-Canadian Strategy to improve employment of persons with disabilities in Canada.  
 
Please note, all conference sessions and presentations will be in English.

This conference will be the next step in a process that began in November 2017, when a broad range of work disability partnersheld a highly successful conference in Ottawa entitled “Disability and Work in Canada: Success and Challenges of Canada’s First 150 Years, Developing a Vision and Strategy for the Future.” <A HREF="https://crwdp.ca/en/national-conference-disability-and-work-canada" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://crwdp.ca/en/national-conference-disability-and-work-canada</A>.
A draft strategy was developed and distributed in the Fall of 2018, prior to the second national conference, "Disability and Work in Canada: A Partnership for Moving Forward" <A HREF="https://www.ccrw.org/disability-and-work-in-canada-national-conference-2018/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.ccrw.org/disability-and-work-in-canada-national-conference-2018/</A>. The objective was to foster broad consensus on the key elements of that strategy.
