Easy Eats at Aaniin
Free cooking workshop for youth ages 13 to 16 years.
Tuesday September 10th 4:00PM – 6:00PM at Aaniin Community Centre
At York Region Food Network we aim to create fun spaces for youth to explore and develop their understanding of food and food systems while building skills in the kitchen and enhancing food knowledge.
In this workshop youth participants will build confidence while creating delicious and healthy snacks from scratch. Participants will practice hands on food skills including: knife skills, principles of baking, understanding food safety, how to follow recipes, and so much more. During our time together we will prepare, eat and have a great time in the kitchen. The workshop menu will include: baked cheese scones, hummus and fresh veggies, and home made bruschetta.

Please RSVP. Space is limited.
