The Park Theatre, is now in its seventeenth year of operations and has grown into one of Winnipeg’s premier live event venues. With over 300 events a year spanning music, comedy, theatre, and film, the room has become home to an expansive community of artists.In 2014 The Park Theatre was awarded “Venue of the Year” at the Western Canadian Music Awards, after being nominated for the same award in both 2012 and 2013.The venue itself is a renovated movie theatre that opened in the fall of 1915. While many of Winnipeg’s neighbourhood theatres have been demolished or “repurposed” into bowling alleys or retail stores. The Park managed to hold out for 73 years before fate caught up with it.  After sitting vacant for nearly a decade it was revived into what is now one of Winnipeg’s most popular live music venues.With its high-quality sound, great atmosphere, two full-service bars, and premier live entertainment from local acts to international touring artists, it’s no wonder that artists and audiences alike keep coming back.

Echo Park is pleased to return to the Park Theatre On Tuesday, June 28, 2022. This event is once again a fundraiser, with all proceeds being donated to the Riverview Health Centre Foundation. Our last two fundraising events at the Park Theatre sold out, so be sure to get your tickets early. 

Based on previous audience feedback, we will be once again starting the evening with a full acoustic set of some of our favourite classic rock and country songs. This will be followed by a full set of “in your face” classic rock! We are adding several additional songs to our repertoire for this event (Clapton, Supertramp, Bon Jovi, and so on). 

The event will be our lead guitarist (Bob Miles) last event with Echo Park. Bob and Joan are setting up residence in BC later this summer. Bob has been with Echo Park since the beginning - in the early 2000’s - so we hope that you can join us on June 28th to celebrate Bob’s tenure with the band!

ECHO PARK is one of Winnipeg’s premiere Classic Rock and Country Bands. They have performed at various venues throughout Manitoba for over 15 years, including The Lyric Theatre, South Beach Casino, Club Regent Casino, The Manitoba Stampede, various bars throughout Winnipeg and for numerous private functions. Their repertoire includes covers of such artists as The Tragically Hip, The Eagles, Santana, Dire Straits, BTO, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Steve Miller, ACDC, The Beatles,….and so on.
