Sanctuary Centre for the Arts

Ecstatic Winter Solstice 7-10PMNiagara Ecstatic Dance is honoured to invite Power Couple - MATTY RYCE @mattyryce and AUDRA SANTA @copper_lighthouseback for another night of transformation and connection!!!! A very special offering! Our very own Natalina will offer some warm up exercises and movementThis is a larger gathering with Tao blessings/energetic transmissions, cacao ceremony, somatic breathwork which all lead into an ecstatic dance journey (DJ’ed by MATTY) !!We will move some energy and celebrate the self, community and life! Celebrating the longest night of the year which welcomes back the light!!! ☕️ Cacao is the plant medicine offering for this ritual. It is a beautiful heart opening elixir. 🌬️ The BREATH is everything, it happens both consciously and unconsciously. When we bring our awareness to it and breathe with intention - big things can happen. 🌬️ This somatic breathwork invigorates the body, mind and spirit as we bring this up-regulating breath of life through our bodies, exploring all parts of us. 💃🏻 Dance is another powerful form of medicine to heal the mind, body and soul as physical movement aids in transmuting (stuck and or stagnant) energy held within us. 🕺🏻 Matty's ethos of how he guides ecstatic dance is through the chakra system, from root to crown; the music is to activate these different parts of us and help move the energy through our being. This whole process is magic, and when everyone in this large group allows their magic to flow, it is an unbelievable experience. This is a sober event Bring a water bottle & a yoga mat or blanketWHERE does it take PLACE??The Sanctuary Centre for the Arts in Ridgeway209 Ridge Rd N, Ridgeway, ON L0S 1N0TICKETS $44early birds $38 till December 11th!!!includes a dose of delicious ceremonial grade CACAO from EMBUE... optional to consume of course!! No matter what age, what gender, or what culture you are and no matter what actual dance experience you have ... ....none of that dictates your capacity to ecstatic dance! It's about the flow, the organic movement and the freedom to be! There is NO right way or wrong way! With the many ways we have to pre-qualify and validate our status as human beings in order to engage in life, I find it deeply liberating that there is a space that simply accepts me and you for who we are. A place for our nervous system to recoup and just move freely to amazing beautiful music in a safe welcoming environment. Bring all of you.
