ECT Program Innovation Floor

Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21Halifax, NS
Thursday, May 7 from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm
Overview

Showcasing funded Emerging Concepts & Technologies Program projects from across Atlantic Canada

Researchers and innovators supported through Net Zero Atlantic's Emerging Concepts and Technologies (ECT) Program will gather to share results and insights from ECT projects across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island — all focused on addressing greenhouse gas emissions and driving clean business development solutions across the region.

In a tradeshow-style format, ECT-funded project teams will showcase their work through live demonstrations, poster boards, and presentations. Attendees are invited to walk the floor, engage directly with the teams behind the research, and explore emerging technologies tackling challenges in hard-to-abate sectors on the path to net-zero by 2050.

By bringing multiple projects together in one place, the event offers a unique opportunity to see the range of early-stage innovation happening across Atlantic Canada and how these ideas are beginning to take shape in real-world applications.

The event will also include dedicated networking time and program updates, creating space for researchers, startups, government representatives, funders, and ecosystem partners to connect and explore what's possible together.
