Edmonton's NextGen

Edmonton’s NextGen is excited to bring Timeraiser back to Edmonton. Join us at a party for social good on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at the Old Strathcona Performing Arts Centre.
<H3>What is Timeraiser? </H3>
Timeraiser is a party for social good, supporting artists and non-profits. Attendees bid volunteer time, not dollars for original art. In addition to supporting emerging artists (each work of art is purchased by Edmonton’s NextGen), Timeraiser aims to foster and celebrate volunteerism in the city.  
Bidding starts at 20 hours and maxes out at 100. If a piece you love reaches 100 hours, anyone can match that bid and we’ll draw a winner at random from the max bids at the end of the auction. If you have the winning bid, you have 12 months to complete your pledge, with a local non-profit of your choice, before bringing your new artwork home. Don’t know where to volunteer? We'll have local non-profits in attendance to let you know how to get involved.
Join for part of the festivities, or stay for the whole thing! Most importantly, we’ll have a fresh selection of locally-sourced, original artwork available for auction and new volunteer opportunities to explore.
