There will be free masks and earplugs available at the door for those who desire them.T﻿his event is made possible due to a microgrant received from the Guelph Arts Council.P﻿erformer Bios<a href="https://www.instagram.com/erincorbettmusic/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Erin Corbett</a> is an experimental musician, sound artist, and animator from Kenora, Ontario. Her live performance blends modular synth improvisation with frenetic beats and hyperpop melodies to explore themes of transgender identity, alienation, and environmental degredation. In 2020 she released her fourth LP &quot;Swelter, Molt, Sweat, and Mettle&quot; on Biblioteka Records, and in 2021 she released the short film &quot;Angel Liver&quot;. She has performed alongside internationally renowned artists Claire Rousay and Matchess, and in 2022 she headlined Toronto Vector Festival&#x27;s &quot;Another Life&quot; Showcase.<a href="https://www.instagram.com/leucrocuta.music/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Leucrocuta</a> is an electronic music project. Their sound draws its influence from industrial, ambient and outsider avant-pop, and “feels like a dream often on fast forward” (Intersection Festival). In September of 2020, they released their second full-length experimental electronic album ‘Kentanna’ on Lost Angles. Their first full-length experimental electronic album ‘Exorcises in Loneliness’ was featured in NOW! Magazine’s Best Music of the Week in Feb. 2019. They are currently working on completing a full length audio-visual album with experimental electronic music producer, Erin Corbett.<a href="https://www.instagram.com/dollyfuckingparton/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Stella</a> (they/she) is an inter-disciplinary performer and musician based in Toronto. They are an active member of Toronto’s music community and have toured nationally as the musical director and accompanist for award winning drag artist Pearle Harbour. Their shapeshifting performance art/installation project Twin Mask has created works for Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, Unwrap Theatre, Studio634 and Pride Toronto. Stella has an MA in Theatre and Performance Studies from University of Toronto, specializing in immersive performance and audience participation practices. Stella is a 2023 resident of the Canadian Film Centre as part of the Slaight Music Lab.A fixture in the Guelph queer community and UK bass scene for 15 years since she began DJing in 2008, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/junglecatdj/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Junglecat</a> got her start playing drum &amp; bass, UK garage, dubstep and grime at underground parties. This led to her playing gigs at Fortnight, Kazoo! Fest and Holy Smokes, along with residences at the Guelph Googenheim, Van Gogh&#x27;s, and The eBar. In 2015, Junglecat, along with fellow DJs M&#x27;Damn D and OrangaDang founded FIERCE, Guelphs&#x27;s only monthly queer dance party, which became a cornerstone in Guelph queer nightlife.<a href="https://www.instagram.com/bodywaltzing/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Bodywaltz</a> is a queer non-binary musician, event organizer and poet based in Guelph, Ontario. Primarily spinning footwork, a high-speed genre originating in Chicago in the early 2010s, they feature an eclectic blend of music from across genres and the globe, including jungle, uk funky, ballroom house and baile funk. Bodywaltz sets promise a frantic, propulsive and fun experience, taking the body on an irresistible physical and emotional journey that reflects the complexity and messiness of what it means to be a human being.
