ELSE Mentorship Program 2017 

ELSE is a growing network of young professionals, students, and solar advocates (up to 35 yrs.), who are working towards building a strong solar energy future across Canada.ELSE fosters Canada’s next generation of clean tech leaders, providing participants with new skills and knowledge, professional development opportunities, and connections within industry and government.TheMentorship Programis designed to give new graduates and young professionals an opportunity to engage with and learn from our industry’s leaders. Through an online forum, ELSE members can browse through a list of industry Mentors and select to meet with one in person or through teleconferencing.

<H2>ABOUT THE EVENT </H2>
Emerging Leaders in Solar Energy (ELSE) is excited to bring together mentors & mentees for a social and networking event. We will be hosting 10 featured mentors who are established within the solar/renewable industry. Featuring  roundtable discussions as well as drinks and snacks, it will be a fun night of professional growth and social exchange.

<H2>EVENT FORMAT</H2>
Over the course of the evening, mentees will have the opportunity to rotate between three of the five discussion groups. Each discussion group will vary based on the mentors’ background; this presents an exclusive opportunity to interact with new mentors on a wide range of industry topics.

It will be a very interactive evening! The small groups will allow for meaningful dialogue while rubbing shoulders with other young professionals in the industry.  Discussions/Q&A will be focused around industry insight and career advice based on the Mentors' experience.
We believe Mentorship is one of the most effective ways for experienced professionals to share knowledge and for students or young professionals to embark on a career in solar /renewable energy industry… so don’t forget to come prepared! Example questions to ask your mentors include:
