Empty Bowls

Community Food Share has been serving Dundas and Stormont Counties for over 30 years. Our mission is to provide our neighbours with access to healthy food by promoting the benefits of nutrition; building community partnerships; and supporting our clients through a variety of life challenges.Community Food Share’s primary service continues to be our Healthy Choices Food Banks, operating out of Winchester and Morrisburg, plus food satellites located in Finch (serving North Stormont) and Williamsburg.We also continually develop and offer new services that provide clients a variety of supports to put more nutritional food on their tables.Our other services include tax prep assistances, community gardens, community advocate, growing futures, and partnering with the North Dundas Christmas Fund, South Dundas Christmas Exchange, and Heat for the Holidays.

Delicious lunch including soup and breads prepared by local chefs, served in a pottery bowl (that you get to keep) crafted by local artists.

<p>Join us for a lunch including delicious soup and breads for dipping, prepared by local chefs, and complete with a beverage and a sweet treat.  This year's Empty Bowls offers two tiers of tickets. Enjoy the lunch for $25 or for have it served in a hand-crafted bowl that you take home for $45. Finally, b﻿e sure to explore the silent auction!</p><p>A﻿ll proceeds go to Community Food Share to help fight food insecurity across Dundas and Stormont Counties.</p>
