We prepare kids for real-world challenges by getting hands-on and creative with code. These classes and events introduce 8-12 year olds to coding projects perfect for beginners. Join us to build a simple tag game including scoring, costume changes &amp; sound using drag-and-drop coding platform Scratch | 2 hour workshop

Tag - you’re it! Join us as we build a simple tag game including scoring, costume changes and sound. Participants will build the project using the drag-and-drop block coding platform Scratch, and have the opportunity to set the stage, add characters, and make the game their own! Each session will start with a hands-on group activity to get the creative juices flowing, before leading into our coding activity.This is a small group session with a maximum of 6 participants and a live-facilitator. Ages 8-12Required:<ul><li>Computer or laptop, and access to wifi (no iPads)</li><li>paper and markers for the group activity</li></ul>Event start time is listed in Eastern Time (ET), but the workshop available in all provinces.Be sure to mark your calendar with the start time for YOUR time zone.
