In Western Democracies, domestic violent extremism continues to escalate among youth and young adults. Political polarization, COVID-19, public health restrictions, and new global conflicts are seen as some of the recent major drivers being used as recruitment strategies over the last several months. Next in our series of lunch and learns, we will explore engagement strategies that have been successful with youth and young adults, program outcomes for ETA, trends, and exploring future areas of concern.
