Engaging Vulnerable Persons

Please join us for a workshop presented by Calgary Alpha House Society in community partnership with Carya where we will work toward;

• Understanding factors that lead to homelessness & addiction
• Challenging the stigmas associated with homelessness & addiction
• Learning about philosophies of care including Housing First and Harm Reduction
• Recognizing how & when to navigate interactions with our unhoused neighbours
• Learning about free resources available to community & when to utilize them

This 90-minute workshop will be offered twice monthly (one lunchtime & one evening session) to accommodate a variety of schedules. Please register for ONE session only.
