<p>Please join us for a workshop presented by Calgary Alpha House Society in community partnership with Carya where we will work toward;</p><ul><li>Understanding factors that lead to homelessness &amp; addiction</li><li>Understanding Calgary's Homeless System of Care &amp; how Alpha House fits in</li><li>Learning about philosophies of care including Housing First and Harm Reduction</li><li>Challenging the stigmas associated with homelessness &amp; addiction</li><li>Recognizing how &amp; when to navigate interactions with our unhoused neighbours</li><li>Learning about free resources available to community &amp; when to utilize them</li></ul><p>This 90-minute workshop will be offered twice monthly (one lunchtime &amp; one evening session) to accommodate a variety of schedules. Please register for ONE session only.</p>
