Engineering IDEAs Clinic

We are holding the second annual EngCon on Monday, September 24 from 5-9:30pm.  This event brings together instructors, alumni, entrepreneurs, and industry with 3rd and 4th year students as they enter their capstone projects.  
Capstone projects would benefit greatly if students are made aware of professional tools, whether that is software tools, or pre-engineered components.  EngCon is a "one stop shop" for students to learn about these tools and companies.  In addition, it gives an opportunity to meet professionals, expand their professional networks, to seek help, or generate ideas for projects.  The presentations all focus on the first third of the design cycle where students typically take shortcuts (to their own detriment). 
The schedule for the event is attached, it would be great if you could attend.  Feel free to attend any/all of the evening, but know that the best times to interact with students is during dinner, and during the social at the end of the night.  If your company wants to set up a booth or a banner, I would be happy to help facilitate that as well.
The convention is taking place in the brand new ideas clinic space in E7, and we are hoping to get between 200 and 300 students out to the event.
