For those who believe in a green future, join the <a href="https://www.rcen.ca/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Canadian Environmental Network </a>and meet like-minded environmental non-profit professionals.Expand your green circle and partnership across Canada. Use this hour to build relationships, discover new projects and ideas and find ways to collaborate through randomized one-on-one video sessions. Sessions will be 3-minutes long, two rounds with each participant. The first round is a general introduction and the second will have optional discussion prompts to get the conversation flowing.Have your elevator-pitches ready!This month, we welcome guest speaker Mike Simpson, executive director for the BC Council for International Cooperation. The BCCIC has played a crucial role in understanding and achieving the <a href="https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/sustainable-development-goals/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)</a> both nationally and internationally. As an introduction, Mike will be speaking on ways to incorporate the SDGs in nonprofit outreach and activities. Mike has been an active voice for Canadian civil society at international forums ranging from the World Summit on Sustainable Development to UN meetings on renewable energy.
