What You’ll Learn
This session covers the full lifecycle of an analytical project from a field perspective, including:
- Project planning and sampling strategy
- Proper sample collection procedures
- Sample submission and inspection
- Sample preparation and analysis overview
- Data reporting and interpretation
- Understanding how field decisions impact laboratory results and data defensibility
Participants Will Receive Training On:
- Regulatory requirements and industry best practices for analytical project planning
- How to collect representative environmental samples
- The impact of sampling techniques on data quality
- Proper collection of soil and water samples, including:
- F1/BTEX in soils
- VOCs in water
- Metals in water (dissolved phase)
- F2–F4 hydrocarbons in soil
- Correct completion of a Chain of Custody
- Proper cooler packing and laboratory submission procedures
