Join us for this Event and Open House! #Representation Matters: A Creative Collabz and Conversations event. Did you know that Black youth and Girls are the most under-representated segments in STEM fields? Why is that? What are the barriers?We have assembled a group of amazing professionals to talk about the need for greater representation in STEM and to talk about the long term impacts if we do not address this issue. Featuring musical guest:MAESTRO FRESH WESWe want a future that includes everyone. Join us in Atlanthọ́s our social VR environment* and zoom for panel, a musical performance and exploration of our social VR environment**No Headset is requiredAbout UsWe power safe, accessible, anti-racist, technology-forward youth spaces created from the Black community's imagination and for all youth.Ethọ́s Lab is creating a STEM and culture-focused Innovation Academy (Akademie) for youth ages 13-18 to incite curiosity, build community, and promote personal growth and development in a rapidly changing world. With in-person workshops, a physical co-working space and an engaging, safe online community, Ethọ́s Lab is a safe and accessible tech-infused environment that meets the diverse needs of youth right where they are.With an online virtual arena and safe, limited-attendance in-person workshops, Ethọ́s Lab powers safe, accessible, anti-racist, technology-forward youth spaces created from the imagination of the Black community, and for all youth.
