EuphrateNil Bosca Née d’un père turc et d’une mère française, Euphrate est une lycéenne, en classe de terminale et en difficulté scolaire. La médiocrité de ses résultats, et la confusion dans laquelle elle se trouve face à l’imminence du choix d’orientation professionnelle la poussent à s’interroger sur l’incidence de sa double culture dans la construction de son identité. Dans un dialogue savoureux et empreint d’humour avec son père, elle part à la rencontre de ses racines turques et de ses souvenirs d’enfance. Mêlant la danse et les mots, le spectacle de Nil Bosca raconte avec la liberté d’un corps joyeux le chemin vers l’affirmation d’une parole de femme.Euphrate sera en tournée dans le réseau des Alliance Françaises du Canada (Toronto, Ottawa, Halifax, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver et Montréal). Her lacklustre grades and the confusion she feels when faced with an imminent career choice lead her to question the impact of her dual culture on the construction of her identity.In a delightful and humorous dialogue with her father, she sets off to discover her Turkish roots and childhood memories. Blending dance with words, Nil Bosca’s performance tells a story of a joyful body’s odyssey towards the affirmation of a woman’s voice.Euphrate will be on tour across the Alliance Française network of Canada (Toronto, Ottawa, Halifax, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, and Montréal).
