Evolution: Where Am I  Now?

Yasodhara Ashram is a yoga retreat and study centre founded by Swami Radha in 1963 in the mountains of southeastern British Columbia. The Ashram supports the potential for transformation in each person, helping them bring quality into their lives through yogic tools and experiential learning. Using the Zoom platform, groups will remain intimate with maximum 16 or 21 registrants, depending on the class.

Yasodhara Ashram

Four-week series with a range of yogic practices to keep your sense of unfolding purpose alive. Offered for YDC and Yoga Journey grads.

Prerequisite: YDC or Yoga Journey “You have your own process, your own path to evolution and you are responsible for keeping it alive. The enjoyable part, the part that brings it to life is that there is something very, very definite for you, for each person embedded within them.” (Swami Radhananda, Living the Practice)Every step along your path has led you to where you are today. Tracing the evolution of a lifetime is like embarking on a treasure map. Sometimes those ‘treasures’ are clear and easily recognizable. Some are hidden and take willingness and patience to uncover. How have you kept your unfolding alive? What has supported you? What have been the ups and downs that have brought you to where you are today? How do you understand your purpose going forward? This 4-week series will include a whole range of practices.For the first class, you will need a large sheet of paper (flip chart size or large piece of newsprint or tape small pieces of paper together). Also crayons or coloured pencils.

<h3>Details</h3> Date &amp; Time: This online series takes place on four Mondays from 10:00 - 12:00pm PT on the following dates:<ul><li>October 21</li><li>October 28</li><li>November 4th</li><li>November 11th</li></ul> Location: This class will be held online using Zoom.Investment: $260 for a series of four classes.Enrolment: Online series are limited to 21 participants. If the class is full, you will have the option to join a wait list.Accessing the Online Classes:Once you register, you will receive an email from EventBrite with a link to the Online Event Page which has information on how to join the classes via Zoom. You will need to be logged into EventBrite with the same email address you used to purchase the class series in order to access the Online Event Page.This online class series includes small group work so we ask that you connect with your own device if multiple people from your household are participating.

<h3>About Swami Samayananda</h3>Swami Samayananda manages the teaching schedules and teachers at Yasodhara Ashram. She has been an educator for over 35 years in educational institutions, businesses, private consulting agencies and Yasodhara Ashram and Radha Centres. While living at the Ottawa Radha Centre, Swami Samayananda worked with a palliative care team and a cancer centre offering yogic tools to support patients.
