Community Futures North Okanagan and the Lumby & District Chamber of Commerce are offering workshops for local small business owners in Lumby this spring. 

These workshops include a light lunch and are free of charge.

Exceptional customer service isn't just about being friendly—it’s about solving problems before your clients even notice them. Is your business proactive or just reactive?Through this workshop, small businesses will learn to elevate their customer service by looking beyond individual interactions and focusing on the full client journey-from first impression to long-term loyalty.Participants will explore why exceptional customer service is a key driver of reputation, referrals, and repeat business, especially in close-knit communities.This session introduces:<ul><li>practical strategies for mapping the customer experience</li><li>how-to identify gaps in your customer journey</li><li>ways to strengthen each touchpoint with your customers</li></ul>A strong emphasis is placed on proactive service-anticipating customer needs, removing friction, and solving problems before clients even notice them so businesses can create seamless, memorable experiences that build trust and lasting relationships.This lunch &amp; learn workshop will take place at the White Valley Community Centre.
