To provide an overview of the temporary suspension of O. Reg. 406/19's January 1, 2022 provisions.

The Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) has temporarily suspended the need to comply with provisions under O. Reg. 406/19: On-Site and Excess Soil Regulation (“Excess Soil Regulation”) that came into effect on January 1, 2022. These provisions will come back in effect on January 1, 2023. MECP is holding two information sessions (April 28th and May 2nd) to provide an overview of the temporary suspension of these provisions, and to provide an opportunity for stakeholders to ask questions as well.The session will be held through Microsoft Teams. You will receive the link in an Eventbrite email a day before the session.Note: There is limited space in the sessions, so we request that you register early and limit the number of representatives from your organization. If this session is full, you can register for Session #2 (May 2nd), or add yourself to the waitlist.
