About this event

TACTICS presents the world premiere of Exciting Cause, written by Laurie Fyffe with choreography by Allison Burns, an innovative theatrical presentation featuring a poetic text and inventive movement that will transport you into the world of the seemingly insane.

Stealing into the abandoned Rockwood Asylum, Sarah, a historian, is determined to unravel the mystery of her great-great grandmother’s incarceration in 1901. But, once inside the labyrinth of Rockwood’s endless corridors, Sarah stumbles upon ghosts and experiences strange visions; a phantasia of things not quite real. What are the women of Rockwood’s past trying to tell her through their stories, and what secrets will she finally uncover?

TACTICS second presentation of the 2023 season. Directed by Patrick Gauthier, with a stellar cast of Michelle LeBlanc, Julie LeGal, Chelsea Passmore and Angelina Wehbe.

SPECIAL TALK-BALK EXPERIENCES: Talkbacks for Exciting Cause will be held on Thursday, April 27th and Thursday, May 4th after the show and are approximately 20 minutes in length!
