Travel Drumheller presents an OPEN CASTING CALL for folks to play a role in our vibrant tourism community!

Travel Drumheller, in collaboration with Blue Oak Advisory, is excited to host an information session for folks interested in playing a role in our local and regional tourism industry. Every year Drumheller welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors to our region that arrive excited to learn more about dinosaurs, the Badlands geography, and experience local cullinary highlights. Travel Drumheller is interested in supporting businesses and entrepreneurs interested in adding to the activities and experiences offered for guests and locals.This open casting call is for anyone interested in playing a role, big or small, in our tourism economy. If you are interested in sharing an experience based on a skill or hobby, access to a behind the scenes space or specialized knowledge, or have an idea for an experience that you want to build on, this workshop is for you.On Thursday, October 8, 2026 Blue Oak will be hosting an online, and in person, information session to provide an overview of the Experience Development course that will be offered over three days on November 8-10.This information session is the first step towards:<ul><li>turning your skills and story into a market ready experience;</li><li>expanding your existing business with new revenue streams ; and</li><li>helping turn Drumheller into a year-round tourism destination.</li></ul>You don't need to have existing business to attend.
