We are a charity dedicated to ensuring all young people in Waterloo Region can build their path to fulfilling careers. We do this by empowering youth to explore and prepare for the world of work in partnership with their parents, educators and our local workforce.

Explore Your Future is a series of events that bring together local youth in grades 7-12, their caregivers, and community members to explore career options.

Parents: did you know that YOU are the most significant influencer of your children&#x27;s career choices? When they start asking questions you can&#x27;t answer, visit local experts who can, at Explore Your Future! Explore Your Future helps parents, students and educators to better understand opportunities for work and learning here in Waterloo Region.  Over 50 exhibitors will showcase careers and answer your questions, including:<ul><li>Post-secondary institutions such as Conestoga College, University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University</li><li>Local employers in sectors like construction, advanced manufacturing, health care, technology, business, arts, and more</li><li>Community agencies with resources on how to get experience through employment, volunteering or starting a business </li><li>Experts in Experiential Learning and Career/Life Planning from the Waterloo Region and Waterloo Catholic school boards </li></ul>I﻿n addition to exhibitors, info sessions will be offered on high interest topics such as: <ul><li>Apprenticeship: What it is and how students can try and start one for free through the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program</li><li>How students can focus on what interests them most while in high school (like arts, business, healthcare or technology) through the Specialist High Skills Major program</li><li>A﻿nd more to come! </li></ul>Thanks to our generosity of our sponsors and exhibitors, Explore Your Future is FREE to the public. To avoid lineups at the door and to be eligible to win prizes, register in advance!
