Friends of Second Marsh (FSM) is a registered not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to encouraging the protection and appreciation of Second Marsh and our natural heritage system; to promoting a healthy environment through education, communication; and developing partnerships and fostering connections with all sectors of the community.We run a variety of events for the public like interpretive hikes, clean ups, and  plant stewardship activities.

Join Friends of Second Marsh for a hike for beginner birders. Aimed for participants 16 years of age and older.

McLaughlin Bay Trails Public Parking

Join FSM staff as we walk along the McLaughlin Bay Wildlife Reserve Trails and learn some basis about bird watching during the start of fall migration.This event is for 16 of years and above.Some binoculars will be available for use.This hike is suitable for beginner birders.Washroom available on site.No dogs or smoking permitted.
