You are invited to the FANCY FANCY BALL a fundraiser for New(to)Town Collective hosted by June Fukumura, Anjela Magpantay, Davey Calderon, and Avyen von Waldenburg. The fundraiser will present performances by New(to)Town Collective and special guest artists, raffle and door prizes featuring fabulous items from <a href="https://herschel.ca" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Herschel Supply Co.</a>, tickets to the <a href="https://thecultch.com/events/east-van-panto-wizard-of-oz/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">East Van Panto by Theatre Replacement</a>, and handmade chai from Little Chai Company! And the bar will be serving the finest craft beer from our beer sponsor, <a href="https://www.russellbeer.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Russell Brewing Company</a>. To top it all off, New(to)Town Collective will be presenting a staged reading of Peerless by Jiehae Park, a dark comedy based on Macbeth about asian twins (played by June and Anjela, of course) fighting for their ivy league future. Be sure to bring your cash! Square payment will be available for VISA, MC and Debit Cards – and remember, there are no ATMs on site. This is a 19+ event. Join us on December 8th at 7PM and come have a ball!

About <a href="http://www.newtotowncollective.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">New(to)Town Collective </a>N(t)TC is an emerging theatre collective based in Vancouver BC, aspiring to provide accessible, experimental training workshops and creating new interdisciplinary works together. ﻿We are interested in collaborating and cross pollinating our practices and ideas with collaborators from across all artistic disciplines through our Training Jams. As a Collective, we bring together a unique blend of practices including: Grotowski, devising, clowning, visual arts, contemporary dance, playwriting, dramaturgy, directing and more! We are integrating these practices to train and create new works as a collective while supporting each others individual artistic endeavours.
