Get to know your Arts Central Advisors as you learn more about what to expect and how we can support you as you prepare for your first term in the SFU Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS)! This session will cover the following topics while providing an opportunity for you to ask any additional questions of your own!
Note - a separate Advisor Q&A is being held for students in the SFU-Exeter Accelerated Law Program.
- how many courses to take in your first term
- deciding which courses to take
- changing programs
- majors vs minors
- how to declare your major
- how to add a minor or certificate
- preparing for enrolment
- WQB requirements
- co-curricular opportunities (co-op, study abroad, etc.)
This workshop is intended for undeclared FASS students entering their first term at SFU (new, incoming, and transfer). A separate session is being held for students in the SFU-Exeter Accelerated Law Program.
