When can I arrive at the event?

You can enter 30 mins before your timed entry slot shown on your ticket, and anytime up to 30 mins before closing after that time.

What is the Refund policy?

There are no refunds for this event.

Question 3

Can I change my ticket?

Accepted Answer

Some changes may be allowed based on circumstances - email info@feargrounds.ca if you need to change your date and we will do our best to accomodate.

Question 4

What is the event cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

If the event or an event date is cancelled by the venue and/or event organizer, you will be offered a change of date option or full refund.   In the case of refund, you will be refunded to the original payment method within 5 business days of the event date for your purchase.

Can I wear a costume?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we welcome costumes.   However, no full face masks are allowed while traversing the attraction mazes.

Question 6

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a waiver is required from all guests entering the attraction mazes before entry is permitted.  This can be performed on site or digitally, and must be shown before entry tickets are provided at the ticketbooth.

How scary is this event?

We pride ourselves on being an  adult halloween event, which means it isn't for children.  Expect startles, loud sound effects, fog, strobes and lighting effects, gore, blood, and frightening actor interactions.   This event is not recommended for children under 12, parental discretion is advised.

Where does this event take place?

Accepted Answer

This is a very unique event that takes place in a farmers corn field.   You will be immersed into scenes that are embedded in the corn during the attraction like nothing you have encountered before.    Portions of the attraction are under tents for shelter, but the majority is outdoor.

How long are the mazes?

It will take you about 25 mins to walk through both mazes, not counting entry lines of course.

Question 10

Is there ticket sales on site?

Accepted Answer

Yes, however, only is cash is accepted on site.   The ticket price is higher on site, prices posted on site.    You can still buy your ticket online up to 30 mins before your entry time and a QR code is posted on site - which allows no cash payments as needed.

What happens if it rains?

Accepted Answer

We operate rain or shine, please dress accordingly.   If we deem that the weather conditions are a safety hazard, we will stop operations for the duration of the risk situation.   If necessary, and at our discretion, we may reschedule or cancel.  Please see the cancellation policy.

Question 12

Can I smoke, or drink alcohol?

Accepted Answer

Sorry, no smoking of any kind is allowed on site, and alcohol is not allowed to be consumed on site.

Question 13

Are there health limitations for safe access?

Accepted Answer

If you have any health conditions which may be aggravated by shocks, startles or scares, please do not participate.    If you have adverse reactions to smoke/fog or strobe lights,  as well please do not participate.   Finally,  the terrain may be uneven or slippery (muddy if wet), caution is advised

Do you use fog or strobe lights?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we use both.   If you have medical concerns with either, please exercise caution or do not participate.

Question 15

Will the actors touch me?

Accepted Answer

No our actors will not touch you, deliberately at least.   Accidental contact is a possibility but unintended.    Please do not touch our actors - deliberately making contact with our actors.

Is there merchandise for sale?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we have T-shirts and Hoodies for sale at the ticket booth.

Question 17

Can I take a video or photos of inside the maze?

Accepted Answer

No photos or videos are allowed inside the maze area.     We have photo-ops in the line area for your fun photos.

Question 18

Can I use a flashlight in the maze?

Accepted Answer

Please do not use a flashlight in the maze - it will be dangerous for our actors and also detract from your experience.

Question 19

What else is there to do on site?

Accepted Answer

We have photo ops for fun photos.    Also, there are some free games like axe throwing (not real axes though), and corn hole games to pass your time away and hang with friends.
