The next Sexuality Interest Network (SIN) Talk will be Tuesday February 6th from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM in Sidney Smith Hall RM 3130 (100 St George St, Toronto, ON M5S 3G3).

Invited speakers will share new findings on the biology of sexual orientation, gender and the autism spectrum, emotion work in intimate relationships, and the healthcare experience of Canadian women with female genital cutting. Talks include:

Dr. Malvina Skorska, Biopsychosocial Investigations of Gender Laboratory: "Born This Way? New Immunology Evidence for the Biology of Men's Sexual Orientation"

Rebecca Horne, Relationships and Well-Being Lab: "A Labor of Love? Gender and Emotion Work in Intimate Relationships"

Natisha Nabbijohn, Biopsychosocial Investigations of Gender Laboratory: "Gender Nonconformity and the Autism Spectrum: An Examination of Children With and Without Mental Diagnoses"

Danielle Jacobson, Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience, Gender, and Health: "What is Known about Women with Female Genital Cutting in the Western Healthcare System?"


Students and faculty of all disciplines and programs are welcome.

Presented by the Einstein and VanderLaan Labs at U of T, the Sexuality Interest Network (SIN) brings students and researchers from social, developmental, biobehavioral, and clinical programs together to exchange ideas on sex, gender, and sexuality.
