Film Jam

A 48-hour movie-making challenge hosted by MTLRE with PAVED Arts and ScreenSask.

Whether you're brand new to filmmaking or a seasoned vet, this is the event for you. Test out your skills, or learn some new ones.

Join or create a team of 3-5 people to write, shoot and edit a short film in 48 hours based on a theme(provided at the event's start).

Don't worry if you aren't equipped with the necessary gear to make a film. Just fill out our handy form, and we'll provide you with what you need(and the training to use it).

Each team will need actors as well as crew, so if you want to test your chops on the silver screen, this event is for you, too!

We will provide a meal for participants on Sunday before the closing program.

Entry is $20, or $15 with a current PAVED Arts membership - Cash or e-transfer to contact@mtlre.ca

Included in the entry fee is the Sunday meal, a PAVED Arts membership and prizes!

We will have some optional training sessions at PAVED.

We are looking at getting volunteers to come do a short workshop on how to use specific pieces of gear.
