Overview

Two-day workshop to learn ISC reporting, align financial data with program outcomes, and build clear, accurate, defensible reports.

This two-day Financial & Program Reporting Workshop is designed for First Nations, Métis organizations, and non-profit organizations, with a particular focus on Prevention and ISC-funded programs including Post Majority Care and First Nations Representative Services. This workshop walks participants through practical, real-world financial and program reporting using a Prevention ISC reporting case study. Participants will explore how to effectively report both quantitative and qualitative data to demonstrate compliance, accountability, and program impact.

While the workshop is suitable for anyone responsible for financial or program reporting, it is especially relevant for Prevention program staff, managers, financial officers, and coordinators who are responsible for ISC reporting or who want to strengthen how prevention operations are reflected in financial reports.

Why take this course?

This workshop breaks down reporting into clear, manageable components and connects program activities, budgets, and outcomes into a cohesive reporting process.

Course Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the purpose and expectations of ISC financial and program reporting, particularly for Prevention funding
  • Learn how to align financial data with work plans, deliverables, and program outcomes
  • Strengthen their ability to report both financial performance and program impact
  • Build confidence in preparing clear, accurate, and defensible financial reports
  • Reduce reporting stress by using practical tools, templates, and real-life examples

Note: Participants are required to bring their own laptop to fully participate in the hands-on activities. All other materials will be provided.

Note: We are currently in the process of making our Learning Centre wheelchair-accessible. To help us prepare for your attendance, please contact us regarding mobility needs before registering. Email us at info@morrisinteractive.ca or call (866) 955-3006.
