Flaunt It Movement ("Flaunt-It") is a grassroots youth-led social purpose organization that fosters self-love, highly-esteemed representation and leadership opportunities for 2SLGBTQIA+ Black, Indigenous, Women (and Gender-Diverse) of Colour [BIWOC] through the arts, activism and entrepreneurship. Our organization comprises a community artist collective, non-profit social enterprise, and creative co-working studio that empowers and celebrates the endeavours of women and gender-diverse (e.g., femmes and non-binary) people, primarily based in Northwest Toronto's low-income and marginalized neighbourhoods.

These events centre Asian artists &amp; entrepreneurs in celebration of Asian Heritage Month! ✨ 🎊 MAY EVENT OVERVIEW 🎊 </h3><ul><li>May 10: MOTHER'S DAY DIY NIGHT (5:00-8:00 PM) Not sure what to give or make for Mother’s Day? Join us for a DIY flower bouquet evening dedicated to celebrating all mothers, women, and or your special someone! Show off your crafting skills and take home a beautiful satin ribbon floral bouquet creation! Bring a friend/loved one ♡ </li></ul><ul><li>May 17: FREELANCING 101 (6:00-8:00 PM) Have you ever wanted to start a business but didn’t know where to start? Or do you want to learn how to make money and a living as a professional artist? Attend our workshop on freelancing, finances, and starting a business, led by our Executive Director, Sariena Luy, to expand your knowledge and elevate your brand. </li><li>May 23: ASIAN ENTREPRENEURS PANEL (6:00-8:00 PM): Join us for a live panel event featuring Women, Femme, &amp; Gender-Diverse Asian entrepreneurs and leaders from Northwest Toronto and Flaunt It’s community. Panellist TBA. </li><li>May 24: FILM SCREENING w/ <a href="https://www.jayu.ca/" title="https://www.jayu.ca/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">JAYU</a> [ SOLD OUT ] Join us for a special screening of 'Echoes-Palestine,' a short film presented in partnership with JAYU. We invite you to join our community for an evening of reflection and discussion. Register at: https://www.jayu.ca/echoes-palestine </li></ul><ul><li>May 31: ASIAN ARTIST SHOWCASE &amp; OPEN MIC (5:00-8:00 PM) For Asian Heritage Month, we are dedicating our monthly Open Mic to celebrate Asian artists! We invite local Asian artists to open the show and share their talents and projects. Artists are TBA. There will be an open mic from 7:00-8:00 PM as well. ALL ARE WELCOME TO SUPPORT &amp; JOIN! </li></ul>Our events are designed for 2SLGBTQ+ BIPOC women, femmes and non-binary folks, especially from the Jane-Finch community. However, our SHOWCASE events are open to ANYONE to attend and support. RSVP to secure your spot at our free events! SPOTS ARE LIMITED! More information is coming soon!
