Join us and learn the art of manipulating foliage!

Manipulating foliage is one of the most important techniques in floral design and indispensable in modern, contemporary, and abstract work. Manipulating foliage in a design can create rhythm, interest, impact, and abstraction. In this hands-on course learn how to use techniques like rolling, plaiting, braiding, and boondoggling on leaves such as aspidistra, flax, and palm.

All foliage plant material is provided for this class. A $100 course fee for the foliage material will be paid directly to your instructor. Information on how to submit payment for these materials will be provided prior to the start of your first class.

Prerequisites: Classic Design Fundamentals 1 & 2.

Mondays, June 1 through 22 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Public $240, Members $190 (plus applicable taxes and fees).

Registration Deadline: Thursday, May 28 at 5 p.m.

About Lil Taggart

Lil Taggart is an experienced and creative designer and instructor in Floral Arts. She is also an accredited Floral Design Judge and has competed on an international level as well as domestically. She serves on the board of Canada Blooms, co-chairs the staging for the Toronto Flower Show, is past president of the Georgetown Horticultural society and is a member of The Garden Club of Toronto.
