Join us at the studio to learn the art of flower pressing, and come foraging for some wild flowers to press!

Discover the captivating art of flower pressing in our immersive workshop. Join us for a hands-on experience where you'll learn this time-honored technique of preserving the beauty of nature. During this workshop, you will have the opportunity to press a variety of cut flowers and foliage! Our knowledgeable instructor will guide you through the step-by-step process, sharing valuable tips and tricks that you can apply to any plant in your life! You'll learn how to carefully arrange your flowers and leaves in the press to ensure optimal preservation, and get some ideas on how to use these little time capsules of nature for your own DIY projects. To ensure the best results, we'll hold your flower press until the flowers are fully dried and ready for use. This takes approximately two weeks. So you'll have to collect your pressed flowers at a later date (our Open Studio offers a great chance to collect and use them for crafting!) Reserve your spot now and start your journey of preserving the ephemeral beauty of flowers! Hello Maker is proud to offer a warm and inclusive environment for our workshop participants. Led by the owner Kirstie, our workshops are held in our fully accessible space, ensuring everyone can enjoy the creative process. While you're crafting your project, we offer coffee, tea, and a selection of Anderson Craft Ales beer, as well as wine, to help you relax and unwind!
