Learn how to identify and prepare local edible plants and practice safe urban foraging on this East Vancouver walking tour.

<p>Figaro's Garden invites you to explore our beloved neighbourhood through the eyes of self-proclaimed plant nerd and therapeutic horticulture facilitator Julia Thiessen. Part of our Walk with an Expert series of neighbourhood walks, the Foraging Walk will look at the landscape through a lens of edibility. Julia will teach you how to identify and prepare some local edible plants, many of which are often overlooked as weeds. Learn about best practices for respectful and safe urban foraging.</p><p>The walking tour will depart from and return to Figaro's Garden. Rain or shine.</p>
