Forest Therapy Guide Kristie Virgoe will lead us in an experience designed to heighten our senses and relationship with the natural world.This 90-minute exploration of nature and our connectivity with the world around us is suited for both newcomers to forest bathing as well as those who have enjoyed the practice previously.We all know how good being in nature can make us feel. We have known it for centuries. The sounds of the forest, the scent of the trees, the sunlight playing through the leaves, the fresh, clean air — these things give us a sense of comfort. They ease our stress and worry, help us to relax and to think more clearly. Being in nature can restore our mood, give us back our energy and vitality, refresh and rejuvenate us.A forest therapy walk is a healing and connective practice that opens the door for you to deepen your relationship with nature, yourself, and others. It is about opening your senses and being present in the moment. The experience can involve walking, sitting, standing and even lying down – all are optional!
