We are so excited to invite you to slow down and experience the deeper connection that the woods can bring.

You're all signed up for the Forest Bathing Walk! Please keep an eye on your email prior to the event, as we will be sending important information on what to bring and vaccine requirements.

Join us for a 2.5 - 3 hour guided forest therapy walk at the Sutherland Campus to reawaken the senses and experience a deeper connection to yourself and the natural world around you! What is forest therapy? Also known as “forest bathing” or “Shinrin-Yoku”, forest therapy is a practice that promotes a state of inner peace and relaxation through sensory restoration. It is a slow-paced and gentle practice that is physically undemanding and can be done by anyone, at any athletic level.32 Roots Connection was founded by Fleming College alumna Sabarah Pilon (Urban Forestry Technician &#x27;16), and offers guided forest therapy walks, deep nature connection programs, workshops &amp; corporate wellness services. As a forest therapy guide, Sabarah creates the space in which participants are free and safe to deepen into fully experiencing the practice to whatever degree you feel comfortable with. 32 Roots offers opportunities for people to reawaken or deepen their relationship to themselves, through nature, in experiential and connective ways. With a blend of both sacred practice and forest ecology, we will show you that the fire is not out, the spark simply needs reigniting.What to bring: Please bring some water and a blanket to sit on and dress for the weather. Please expect to be outside for 2.5 - 3 hours, so dress according to the weather and bring anything that you will need to be comfortable during our time together.As per Fleming policy, proof of first COVID-19 vaccination and COVID-19 screening will be required by all participants.
